| Wiring the Xbox for a Power Button Mod: |

You will need:
1. From the inside, locate controller port 1.
2. Follow the yellow wire, as it goes from the port to the plug.
3. Cut the yellow wire right above the plug, leaving as much length on the port as possible.
4. Strip the end of the yellow wire between 1/4" and 1/2"
5. Find the set of all yellow wires that goes from the front eject panel to the motherboard.
6. Where these wires plug into the motherboard, isolate the wire that goes into the front row, closest to port1.
7. Carefully strip the insulation off this wire, so the metal wire is bare in one spot.
8. Wrap the yellow wire from port 1 around the bare spot of the power lead.
9. Cover bare wires with electrical tape to prevent shorting on the case sheilding.

After re-assembly, you can now use this xbox with a controller power button mod.
