| Opening the Xbox: |

You will need:
- Torx 20 driver
- Torx 10 driver
- At least one hand
1. Flip your xbox upside down.
2. Remove 6 screws from the bottom with the Torx 20 driver. The red dots in this picture show where these screws are located.
3. Turn the xbox rightside-up again, and lift the case top off.
4. Unplug the ide ribbon-cable and power cables from both the hard drive and the dvd drive. These spots are marked in yellow on the image below.
5. Remove 3 screws from the drive trays with the Torx 10 driver. The red dots in the image show where to find them.
6. Lift out the hard drive tray. You will have to untangle the powerline from the side of the tray.
7. Lift out the dvd drive.
You can now access any of the internal parts.
