Inside the 360:

Removing the DVD drive:
To remove the dvd drive, just pull the drive straight up. It should lift right out. Once clear, unplug the power cable and the SATA cable.

Removing the airscoop:
The airscoop helps pull air through the heatsinks and out past the fans. There is one tab holding it in place, on top of the fans.
Push your pointy tool into the hole as shown, and push toward the rear of the console. Once the tab is released, the airscoop
should lift straight up and out.
Removing the fans:
First, unplug the fans from the motherboard. Next, notice that is a piece of metal frame holding the fans in place. Pry this metal upwards,
and pull the top of the fan assembly forward. Once the fans tilt clear of the metal frame, the fan assembly should lift right out.
Removing the Powerbutton/RF board:
To reach the hidden third screw on the powerbutton/RF board, you must take off the "Circle of Light". Use a fingernail under
the bottom edge to pull it off.

Now you can remove the three screws with a T8 driver. With the screws out, carefully pull the whole board forward and off.
Removing the Motherboard:
Grab the metal casing behind the usb ports, and pull it back and up. Help the other front edge of the motherboard up by pulling
up on the memorycard slots. Once you have the front edge up, you can pull the whole board up and out.
Here is the metal bottom shielding, with the motherboard and parts out.

Taking apart the DVD Drive:
To remove the eject button, push the tab shown to the right, and pull it straight off.

To remove the dvd bezel (the front edge of the tray) pry forward where the two notches are shown, then slide the whole piece upwords.

To open the dvd drive, flip it upside down. Use a normal phillips screwdriver to remove the four screws on the outside edge.
Turn it back right side up, and lift the top off.
